During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the Kaiwen Academy (KWA) Team went to Hangzhou to participate in the 2018 “Future City” Summer Competition National Finals. The team won first prize and the “Most Innovative Infrastructure” award in the competition. This was the best result that KWA has achieved in the “Future City” Competition after it won second and third prizes in the competition last year. The result was the best Dragon Boat Festival gift from the participating students.

2018年6月15日，北京海淀凯文学校中学部的同学们在语文组老师的组织下，举办了“凯文·端阳南风”活动。

自首次亮相北京国际学校击剑联赛并荣获团体积分第三的好成绩后，凯文的小剑客们一直蓄势待发，期待着再一次登台展示。2018年6月10日，在第七届北京国际学校击剑联赛 (The 7th Beijing International School Fencing Tournament)上，凯文击剑队的队员们与近240名击剑小将同台较量、奋勇争先，最终勇夺亚军！

Since winning third place when they debuted at the Beijing International School Fencing Tournament, Kaiwen Academy (KWA)’s young fencers have been preparing for and looking forward to another opportunity to display their skills. On June 10, 2018, they won runner-up at the 7th Beijing International School Fencing Tournament after crossing swords with nearly 240 teenage fencers.

6月12日，北京海淀凯文第一届家委会成立大会顺利举办。执行校长周兆玉、学术校长王实、外方学术副校长Donald Miller、小学部主任Michael Shimshak和职能部门负责人悉数到场，热烈地欢迎各位家委会委员的到来，一同见证了这一历史时刻。

“I have always agreed with Kaiwen Academy (KWA)’s educational philosophy. Next year, my child will be studying at the KWA secondary school. I will act as a bridge between the parents’ committees of KWA’s primary and secondary school divisions. I will also share more resources. I hope that the Parents’Committee will unite and contribute to better education of our children and more,” said Ms. Sun Wen, director of the 1st KWA Secondary School Parents’Committee.

2018年6月12 日，在海淀区第八届 “世纪杯” 小学教师基本功培训展示活动中，海淀凯文小学语文组刘莉老师荣获四季青学区说课展示活动一等奖。据悉，刘老师还将代表学校参加海淀区级说课展示赛。
