HDKWA has more than 200 staff members, with a teacher-student ratio of 1:6 and a national teacher-international teacher ratio of 1:1.

The average teaching experience of foreign teachers is more than 15 years. The Chinese teachers are all graduates of world-famous universities, including Harvard University, Columbia University, New York University, Purdue University, Cambridge University, Imperial College London, University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal University, and other famous universities at home and abroad. All of them have high academic standards and rich teaching experience.

HDKWA currently has nearly 1100 students (the school’s capacity is 1200).

The tuition fee for KG (K) is 180,000 RMB per academic year. For Primary School (G1 - G5), the tuition fee is 230,000 RMB per academic year. (Among them, the "Jingrun" Math Class - Domestic Class's tuition fee is 198,000 RMB per academic year.) For Secondary School, the tuition fee for G6-G8 (Middle School) is 250,000 RMB per academic year, and that for G9-G12 (High School) is 270,000 RMB per academic year.

The‘Demoiselle Crane Scholarship’ is awarded to outstanding middle and high school students after their evaluation by the Beijing Haidian Kaiwen Academy Scholarship Committee.

In primary school, each class is equipped with one bilingual and one foreign homeroom teacher. Two homeroom teachers guide children to grow up as companions. In middle school and high school, HDKWA adopts a tutorial system teaching students to inspire creativity and cultivate indecently thinking.
