On April 25, the 7th and 8th graders went to the China Science and Technology Museum. This was their third field trip since KWA launched its “Science Activity Month.” For this trip, KWA Science Group teachers carefully designed over 100 small research tasks that involved the Museum’s five major venues and halls. This task-oriented way of exploring knowledge has helped students visit the Museum more efficiently and inspired them to think deeply about what they had learned in the classroom.

科学技术是复杂而深奥的，但在海淀凯子同学们的眼里，学习科学知识的过程却是有趣生动的。 4月25日，7、8年级的同学们带着 “小任务” 来到中国科学技术馆，这已经是 “科学活动月” 的第三次Field Trip。组织活动时，科学组的老师们精心设计了课题调研表，内容涉及了科技馆内5大场馆下的百余个小课题。这种带着问题来探索知识的方式，不但帮助学生们更高效地参观展馆，也进一步启发他们对课上内容的深入思考。

春诵夏弦，大师诏之。4月17日晚，第二届Spring Toward Summer大型室内音乐会拉开帷幕。在海淀凯文的报告厅里，慕名而来的校内外家长和凯文师生共同欣赏了一场古典音乐的视听盛宴。

“很开心学校这次Field Trip安排我们参观自然博物馆。让居住在钢筋水泥世界里的我们了解到大自然的秘密和每个生物的独特故事，还让我们穿越时空，和从未谋面的祖先‘对话’。” 六年级的Kefang和Stella兴奋地分享他们的感受。 凯文重视科学教育，始终强调自然科学的学习对于开发智力和锻造逻辑思维的重要作用。4月17、18两天，在科学组老师的带领下，海淀凯文中学部的同学们参观了北京自然博物馆和中国地址博物馆，领略了自然学科的魅力，收获满满。

On the evening of April 17, the 2nd “Spring toward Summer” large-scale chamber music concert kicked off at Beijing Kaiwen Academy (KWA). Admiring parents and KWA teachers and students enjoyed an audiovisual feast of classical music together at the school’s auditorium.

“We are very happy that the school has arranged us to visit a nature museum on this field trip. This has allowed those of us living in the reinforced concrete world to learn about nature’s secrets and unique stories behind each creature, and travel through time and space to ‘talk’ with our ancestors,” said 6th graders Kefang and Stella excitedly when sharing their feelings of this field trip.
