On August 29-30, 2018, Kaiwen Academy organized the first parents meeting and curriculum presentation of primary and middle school for the new school year to present the planning of the new semester to parents, laying a good foundation for the home and school communication and teaching work.

新学期开学，一年一度的拓展课试课、选课活动正式启动。本学期，学校在1-8年级共开设了6大领域共63类115项拓展课程，辅助核心课程实现凯文教育理念，让每一位学生都拥有引以为豪的凯文印记。

The new semester begins, and the annual trail and selection of enrichment programs are officially launched. In the semester, the school opens a total of 63 categories of 115 courses in 6 fields in the 1st to 8th grades, assisting the core curriculum to realize the Kaiwen education philosophy, let every student have Kaiwen imprint.

8月28日，海淀凯文学校邀请到世界顶级酒店管理学院——瑞士洛桑酒店管理学院（Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne，简称EHL）的优秀学生代表Xu Chang到访我校，和G9-G11年级的同学们分享了自己在洛桑酒店管理学院学习和生活的美好经历。

​On August 28th, Xu Chang, an student representative of the world's top hotel management school, Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), was invited to visit Kaiwen and share her wonderful experiences of studying and living at EHL with students from G9-G11.

Recently, the students of Kaiwen have achieved remarkable results in many domestic and international competitions. Yu Xuan won the gold prize in the Regular script and Painting final in the 14th National Children’s Painting and Calligraphy Competition held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. Chu Haoru, Wu Guanchen, and Liu Lujia won two gold prizes and one silver prize respectively at the 2018 Vienna Mozart International Piano Competition.

近日，海淀凯文学子频传捷报，在多项国内国际大赛中取得令人瞩目的成绩。宇瑄同学在云南昆明举办的第十四届全国少儿书画现场大赛楷书、绘画总决赛中喜获金奖佳绩；褚昊儒、吴冠辰、刘璐嘉三位同学在2018维也纳莫扎特国际钢琴大赛上荣获两金一银的好成绩。

8月16日，海淀凯文全体一年级新生、老师及学生家长在国学圣地——北京孔庙国子监博物馆共同参加了开学典礼，并见证了同学们的开笔礼仪式。
