How to more effectively play the role of the PTA as a bridge and better conduct communication between home and school? This is an educational topic that Kaiwen has been actively exploring, and it is also the original intention of the school to form a parent education workshop.

10月18日，这所苏格兰历史上最深远的、拥有世界最顶级的科研和教学实力的王牌研究型大学的招生官Christopher Kyte来到海淀凯文，与凯文高中生、家长分享圣安德鲁斯大学的特色和优势。

On October 18th, Mr. Christopher Kyte, the admission officer of the famed research university which has the world-class teaching, cutting-edge research and is the first university in Scotland, came to Kaiwen, to share the characteristics and advantages of St. Andrews with Kaiwen High School students and their parents.

​紧张的期中考试周到来了，虽然同学们不可避免地要应对各种考试测验，但在海淀凯文，一张考卷早已不是唯一的考评形式。本学期的小学部语文期中考试的测验形式再升级，在丰富有趣的趣味闯关中，同学们进行了朗读、背诵、讲故事、演讲等方面的口语表达能力的测评。

The tense mid-term exam week has arrived. Although the students inevitably have to deal with various exams, however in Kaiwen, a test paper is no longer the only form of assessment. In this semester, the test form of the Chinese language midterm exam in the primary school was upgraded. It became a fun game, the students conducted a test of oral expression including reading, reciting, speaking and other contents.

10月17日，威斯敏斯特艺术学院院长Marshall Onofrio先生、威斯敏斯特合唱团主任兼指挥Joe Miller先生、外部事务主任Anne Sears女士、演出事务管理部门主任Alexander Kanter先生和合唱团的同学们到访海淀凯文学校，带来殿堂级合唱表演的同时，也与凯文师生亲切交流，格莱美的天籁之音在“京城最美校园”唱响。

On October 17, Mr. Marshall Onofrio, Dean of School of Art of Westminster, Mr. Joe Miller, Director and Conductor of Westminster Choir, Ms. Anne Sears, Director of International Affairs, Mr. Alexander Kanter, Director of Performance Management, and the students of choir visited Kaiwen and brought the fantastic chorus performances. They also had a cordial exchange with Kaiwen teachers and students. The voice of Grammy sang in the “Best Campus in Beijing”.

10月11日，由海淀凯文中学部家委会牵头的家长教育工坊活动正式启动。中学部家委会成员、小学部家长志愿者、心理老师等共同参与，探讨家庭教育中存在的困惑和难点。此次活动也是旨在开拓家委会与学校互通的新形式，在家校共建的过程中，引入专业视角，辅助家长更科学地开展家庭教育，增进其对孩子成长过程的全方位关注。
