承载百年历史的美国著名私校、洛杉矶地区唯一一所文理学院、美国前总统奥巴马的母校，这就是美国知名文理学院——Occidental College（西方学院）。10月10日，受海淀凯文学校邀请，西方学院校长Jonathan Vietch先生和校长助理XiaoHuang Yin先生到访，与校内中学部学生和家长、部分北京国际高中的升学指导老师交流海外留学的信息。

As a 100-year-old American private school, the only liberal arts college in Los Angeles, and the alma mater of former US President Barack Obama, Occidental College is famous liberal arts college. On October 10th, invited by Kaiwen Academy, Mr. Jonathan Vietch, the president of Occidental College, and Mr. XiaoHuang Yin, the assistant of the president, visited Kaiwen and exchanged information on studying abroad with the students and parents of Kaiwen and the university admission counselors of International High Schools in Beijing.

2018年9月29日，北京海淀凯文学校开展全校大型消防安全演练活动。在加强消防宣传教育、增强消防意识，提高师生防火、灭火、自我保护能力，让广大师生时刻牢固树立“珍爱生命、安全第一、遵纪守法、和谐共处”的意识。

On September 28, 2018, students from the second and third grades of elementary school, led by the teachers, paid an autumn outing to Fengtai Purple Valley, enjoying the sea of flowers, planting green plants, drawing kites, and picking up fruits... in addition to enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery, a lot of fun to play games, they put into practices of the knowledge in books.

2018年9月28日，北京海淀凯文学校二、三年级的学生在老师们的带领下，前往丰台紫谷拓展基地秋游。赏花海，种绿植，描风筝，大采摘……有一饱眼福的深秋景致，有游戏比赛的玩耍乐趣，也有书本上实践的科学知识。

“同一个世界，同一个梦想”，2008年，全世界人民见证了盛况空前的北京奥运会。2015年，中国申办2022冬奥成功，自此北京成为世界上首个举办“双奥”的城市。

9月25日，世界第一位在太空授课的美国女教师，航天局（NASA）前宇航员芭芭拉·摩根走进海淀凯文校园，和小学部的同学们畅聊生活在外太空里的趣事，为同学们解答新奇有趣的问题。
