Class of 2025 high school graduates of Beijing Haidian Kaiwen Academy (HDKWA) have achieved stable and impressive acceptance results as previous graduated classes.

The 60 graduates have received a total of 405 offers from prestigious universities worldwide, including 292 offers from universities in the United States, 80 from the United Kingdom, and 33 from universities in Australia, Canada, and Hong Kong, China. The total scholarship amount have reached RMB 13.31 million.

The Majors span a wide range of fields including Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Sociology, Education, Psychology, Anthropology, Art, Food Safety and Health, Management, and more.

Offers from Universities Worldwide

Class of 2025 received offers from numerous well-known universities across multiple countries and regions worldwide.

United States:

Graduates applying to universities in the United States received a total of 258 offers. Among them, 96% of students received offers from universities ranked in top 50 of U.S. News Best National University Rankings, and 38% received offers from universities ranked in the top 30.

Offers are from world-renowned universities such as the California Institute of Technology (1 offer), the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (1 offer), the University of California, Berkeley (4 offers), the University of California, Los Angeles (1 offer), the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (4 offers), and the University of Southern California  (5 offers).

Majors encompassed Economics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Anthropology, and others.

United Kingdom:

Graduates applying to universities in the United Kingdom received a total of 62 offers. The acceptance rate to the UK G5 Super Elite universities was 60%.

G5 offers included the University of Cambridge (1 offer), Imperial College London (2 offers), and University College London (UCL) (14 offers). Other offers from the University of Edinburgh (8 offers), the University of Manchester (12 offers), King's College London (5 offers), among others. Majors covered Chemistry, Physics, Biological Engineering, Economics, Education, Psychology, and more.

Canada, Australia, and Hong Kong, China:

A small number of students from the Class of 2025 applied to universities in Canada, Australia, and Hong Kong, China, receiving a total of 33 offers.

These included offers from the University of British Columbia (2 offers), the University of Toronto (16 offers), the University of Sydney (3 offers), the University of Melbourne (3 offers), Monash University (3 offers), the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2 offers), and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (1 offer), among others. Majors covered Physics, Engineering, Economics, Social Sciences, Psychology, Management, Communications, and more.

Continued Recognition from Top-Tier Universities

In the last application season, HDKWA graduates received an offer from the California Institute of Technology (Ranked 6th in the U.S. News Best National University Rankings) for the first time, and once again received an offer from the University of Cambridge in the UK.

Consistently gaining acceptances to prestigious universities is a recognition of the personal efforts of students and is built upon the school's effective curriculum system, excellent teaching faculty, and educational model that caters to students' individualized development. These results are the best affirmation of HDKWA's long-standing adherence to its educational philosophy.

Furthermore, several world-renowned universities issued offers to our mutiple students, such as the University of California, Berkeley (4 offers), the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (4 offers), the University of Southern California (5 offers), New York University (6 offers), University College London (14 offers), the University of Edinburgh (8 offers), the University of Manchester (12 offers), and the University of Toronto (16 offers). These results further demonstrate the maturity and stability of school's educational system and college counseling support.

Diversity in Majors

The Class of 2025 at HDKWA continued to demonstrate diversity in their choice of majors applied for.

Whether in STEM-related fields such as Chemistry, Physics, Biological Engineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics, or in Social Sciences fields such as Education, Psychology, Communications, Anthropology, Sociology, Economics, and Marketing Management, graduates showcased outstanding competitiveness.

While maintaining diversity in majors applied for, graduates also delved deeply into fundamental mathematical and scientific disciplines and related interdisciplinary fields, building a solid foundation in areas like Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Simultaneously, they were accepted by interdisciplinary majors such as Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, and Biomedical Engineering in top-tier universities.

These results lies the school's long-term support and guidance for students in exploring their academic interests. Through years of development, the school has established an integrated cultivation system and a multi-disciplinary curriculum framework, ensuring students can undertake diverse explorations and pursue personalized, in-depth study across different disciplines. Accepted by Top Arts and Music Colleges

This year, 10 students from HDKWA applied to art and music colleges and received 52 offers in total, including the Rhode Island School of Design (1 offer), the University of the Arts London (4 offers, including 1 from Central Saint Martins), Parsons School of Design (1 offer), Cooper Union (1 offer), the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (3 offers), the Maryland Institute College of Art (1 offer), the School of Visual Arts (3 offers), Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Chapman University (1 offer), and Berklee College of Music (1 offer), among others.

Meanwhile, graduates applying to art colleges also achieved remarkable results in acceptances from comprehensive universities, receiving an offer for the Art Studio program at the University of Southern California (globally ranked 7th in the major) and an offer for UCL Slade School of Fine Art (with a 6.3% acceptance rate of Fine Arts major).

In recent years, graduates from HDKWA have consistently accepted by high-level art and music colleges. World-leading art academies such as the Rhode Island School of Design, the University of the Arts London, and Parsons School of Design have issued offers to HDKWA’s graduates for multiple consecutive years. Prestigious art and music schools including Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (a college in UAL) and Berklee College of Music have also accepted our graduates multiple times. These stable acceptance are undoubtedly the best proof of the effectiveness HDKWA’s educational system for students applying to art and music colleges.

The purpose of education is not to win a single success, but to help students achieve sustained growth over the long term.

We are proud and delighted by the achievements of our graduates, but we also deeply understand that university offers are just new markers on students’ life journey. Life is a long road composed of countless choices, numerous crossroads, and continuous growth.

Over the past nine years, HDKWA  has been dedicated to education, with the mission of cultivating responsible and accountable individuals with sound mental health, who are capable of experiencing and creating joy while solving problems. Student-centered, the school strives to help each student grow into an independent individual with perseverance, physical health, academic excellence, a scientific attitude, critical thinking, and innovative abilities.

For many years, HDKWA has persisted in providing students with abundant, high-quality academic resources and broad exploration space. Through diverse curricular pathways and practical projects, the school enables every student to discover their inner passion through continuous exploring, supports them in deeper self-exploration, helps them establish connections with the real world, gradually form self-awareness, and find their way of interacting with the world.

We believe that inner passion will drive each student onto a more challenging path in the future, inspiring them to find their own place on the global stage and continuously contribute to others, society, and the world. The past experience within the HDKWA community over the years has helped these kind and proactive young people prepare for this.

The Class of 2025 is about to embark on new journeys. Their achievements at HDKWA have become the strength propelling them forward. In the journeys ahead, they will continue to grow, understanding themselves more deeply and connecting with others through interaction and engagement with the world.
