2018年3月开学第一周，北京海淀凯文学校组织了小学部家长会和新学期说明会，让同学、老师和家长在学期之初充分交流，为接下来的教学工作和家校沟通做好准备。

Kaiwen Academy (KWA) primary school division held a parent meeting and a new semester briefing in the first week of the new semester in March 2018. The meetings allowed students, teachers, and parents to talk with each other at the beginning of the new semester and prepared them for the school’s subsequent teaching work and family-school communication.

2018年3月13日下午，来自美国的Furman University, St. Edward’s University, Kalamazoo College 与 University of Puget Sound四所大学的招生官到访海淀凯文，为9-11年级的学生做了一场招生宣讲。

On the afternoon of March 13, 2018, admissions officers from Furman University, St. Edward’s University, Kalamazoo College, and the University of Puget Sound in the United States visited Beijing Kaiwen Academy (KWA). There they held a briefing session for KWA students in Grades 9-11.

On March 2 to 3, 2019, the 2018-19 season of the Beijing stop of the Spelling Bee of China (SPBCN) was held as scheduled. Students from Kaiwen were active in participation.

不知不觉，海淀凯文同学们在美国的浸泡式课堂已经接近尾声。上周提到同学们在美国学习生活的初体验，大家还是难抑的新奇与兴奋，经过两周的时间，大家已经全然适应了当地的学习与生活，与当地的同学、老师和寄宿家庭的爸爸妈妈都建立了深厚的情谊。

每逢寒暑假，海淀凯文学校都会举办浸泡式小学期和微留学活动，同学们分赴欧美知名私校进行为期2-3周的体验式学习，深度感受西方文化与教育。今年大年初三，海淀凯文一行30多位中学生再次踏上了赴美短期浸泡式小学期的旅程。

春节，是家人朋友相聚的热闹与幸福，是中国人每年要过的最重要传统节日。春节将至，经过了紧张的期末大考，海淀凯文举办了一场规模盛大的传统民俗庙会，让孩子、家长和老师一起，共同度过了一次难忘的春节大联欢。

“声不能传于异地，留于异时，于是乎文字生。” 中国的书法开始于汉字的产生阶段，书法是中国人献给世界最美好的礼物，为了弘扬中华的传统美德，发扬国粹风采，海淀凯文小学部的中文老师带领着孩子们组织了一场精彩的书法比赛。
