Accompanied by Mr. Wang Shi, the delegates visited the beautiful Kaiwen campus and said it deserved the title of “the most beautiful campus in Beijing”. They were impressed by the school's indoor and outdoor sports halls, the world's top sports facilities, the sports curriculum, various school teams, and club activities. Kila McCann from Fountain Valley School said excitedly: "If I studied at Kaiwen, I will stay in the baseball practice room every day! The students of Kaiwen are very lucky to accept the guidance of the Major League Baseball (MLB) coach.”
Delegates walked into the classroom to see advanced teaching and research facilities, walked into the printmaking class to watch the students having classes, and discussed with Mr. Wang Shi on the curriculum and student training methods. Mr. Wang Shi said: "The curriculum system of Kaiwen is an integration of Chinese and Western. While cultivating students' international vision, we emphasize the importance of China's cultural foundation. We hope to cultivate students with diversity, individuality, and characteristics. Therefore, we help students to find what they really like and find their own value.” The delegates also walked into the chemistry classroom and discussed the curriculum content of the science subject, the teaching method of the chemistry subject, and the daily study of the students with Mr. Liu Xiping, the science department head of the middle school.
During the meeting, Mrs. Zhou Zhaoyu, Executive Principal, once again welcomed the delegation. She introduced the education concept of Kaiwen and the development of the school in the past three years. The delegates appreciated Kaiwen concept of “cultivating future talents with international vision and homeland emotion.” They believed that the school’s hardware conditions, an international team of teachers, and diverse educational resources would provide students with a strong support.
