A basketball match was held between staff of Tsinghua University High School (TUHS) and Beijing Kaiwen Academy (KWA) on the evening of March 24, 2018. The purpose of the match was for the two teams to learn from each other in terms of basketball skills and promote friendship.

The TUHS team was headed by Principal Wang Dianjun himself. Although it was a friendly match, the two teams played fiercely. The players did not rest until they played two extra quarters in overtime. The final score was no longer important since the Tsinghua sportsmanship was perfectly reflected in the staff of the two schools.
