本学期，经过寒假假期和开学初第一个月的认真准备，海淀凯文初中部集会进行了改革——初中部集会以班级为单位，以学生为主角，各班轮流上台合作展示，围绕蓑羽鹤精神之“自由、勇气、高度”，切合凯文教育理念之“培养具有家国情怀和国际视野的领袖人才”。初中部集会中还含有丰富的学科活动和体育比赛活动。

2021年4月21日，在海淀凯文初中部集会中，6D的全体同学通过演讲、采访、视频制作等不同形式，进行了以“校服”为主题的展示。“君子正其衣冠”，一个人的穿着礼仪和个人修养同样重要，内在美和外在美相辅相成。在海淀凯文，校服陪伴着同学们的成长，也是凯文的标识。

6D班主任卢坤老师(Maxine)说：“本次展示中，6D班学生们自我组织和统筹能力都非常让我惊喜。从定选主题到实际拍摄，他们都能够想出无数的点子。这里我想着重表扬郑晓杨同学，她在这次活动中充分发挥了领导才能，具有极强的统筹和沟通能力，其他同学也积极参与其中，为了做好这次展示而努力。学生们之间互相鼓励，互相支持，共同成长，这正是我们想看到的，我相信这也是学生主持Assembly的初衷之一。6D班学生做到了，我作为班主任，十分为这些孩子们感到骄傲。6D班，加油!”

针对“你喜欢校服吗”和“你觉得我们为什么要穿校服”这两个问题，Emily同学对Xiaoyang、Kevin、Aimmee、Queena、Sunny、Sophie这六位同学进行了采访。

“校服能让我们更团结，因为大家穿校服的样子，看上去像一个团结的集体。”

“校服代表着学校，我们穿校服也是代表学校。”

Xiaoyang同学以“为什么穿校服”为主题，进行英语演讲。她将穿校服的好处概括为专注于课堂、包容性、统一性、节省时间和平等。

States have laws, families have rules, and our school also has regulations. School regulations are designed to make school safer and more organized; they are also established to promote good behavior and discipline bad behavior in order to make students willing to follow all kinds of rules in their lives, which helps them avoid being disciplined by the law.

As everyone knows, students should all be aware of the school regulations, so why are there still students that keep making mistakes and telling teachers that they don't know what the rules are? Thus, in this assembly we – class 6D – are going to make sure that all the students in our middle school are clear about the importance of wearing uniforms in Kaiwen.

Let's begin by discussing why students need to wear school uniforms every day. As we know, our school's uniforms have a British style. According to the article, “Should Students Wear Uniforms?” from timeforkids.com, many schools in the UK say uniforms help students focus in class better and also promote inclusion within the whole school. Uniforms create unity because when kids wear the same outfit, both the older and younger students feel like they are part of the same group. Furthermore, uniforms reinforce school pride and respect towards authority, which also establish equality between students. Moreover, school uniforms lead to conformity since schools make rules for the uniforms that students must wear, and when the students follow the rules, they learn to behave with conformity, which makes society more organized.

In addition to these school-wide benefits, uniforms also create many advantages for students, such as safety. Teachers don't have to worry about students getting lost on field trips or during big events. Additionally, school uniforms can help save time as students don't have to make as many choices with their outfits in the morning. Plus, the time that they use to shop for their own clothes can be spent studying and gaining more useful knowledge, which helps with education. Finally, uniforms can look more like suits that people usually wear in the workplace, so students can be more prepared for their future life.

In conclusion, these reasons make clear why students are supposed to wear uniforms. A uniform not only helps one student, it also helps the whole class, the whole school, and the whole society! Thank you!
