On August 31, Kaiwen Academy ushered in the first College Fair of overseas famous universities in the new school year –admission officers of Stanford University, UC Berkeley, Bard College and Bowden College visited Kaiwen. In the fair, more than 500 middle school students, parents and guidance teachers from all over Beijing carried out active exchanging with admission officers.

The presentation of admission officers covered the detailed introduction of the four colleges, including not only the educational philosophy, teaching resources, professional introduction, campus life, career development, but also the latest admissions policy, international student admission criteria, application review process, etc.

The presentation session and college fair lasted nearly three hours. The students showed civility and a thirst for knowledge, and consulted with the admissions officers in an orderly and positive manner. In the process of communication, the admissions officers patiently answered the general questions of applying to the university and explained the criteria for resume evaluation and selection. Many students used cards, paper and pens to record in detail the advice given by the admissions officer in terms of interview preparation and other aspects.

Wang Runtong, the student of 10th grade said“The college fair organized by our school was a fantastic experience for me. I had opportunities to communicate with the universities’ admission officers directly. I have clearer goals for my future development, I get to compare the different majors from different universities and see which one my favorite is. It sets a goal for me to pursue, and encourages me to study harder.”

The visit of four top colleges to Kaiwen allowed students to have a more direct opportunity to consult with the admissions officers. Kaiwen Academy also has a professional guidance team to provide students and parents with a variety of targeted consultation.

Mr. Wang Shi, Executive Vice Principal, stressed: "In the future, we will continue the overseas promotion of Kaiwen and build a better consultation platform. This will not only allow the students of Kaiwen to have a wide range of pathways to university, but also allow more students in Beijing to have In-depth exchanges with overseas universities. Next, a number of top-level arts and sciences colleges of the United States sessions, and the "East Meets West” Conference will be held in Kaiwen, I hope everyone will participate."
