Kaiwen Academy is full of energy and vitality everywhere even in the midsummer. On the eve of the autumn, a rain weakened the summer heat, and the faculty and staff of Kaiwen Academy had already backed to school to prepare for the teaching of the new school year.

In the new school year, fresh blood injected into Kaiwen Academy. As the number of students continues to expand, dozens of outstanding faculty and staff from different countries such as China, Britain, the United States, Australia and Canada joined the Kaiwen family. They have a common new identity - "Kaiwener."

On the morning of August 6, 2018, the faculty conference of Kaiwen Academy for  the new semester of the 2018-2019 school year was held as scheduled. Mr. Xu Guangyu, Chairman of the BOD, Mrs. Zhou Zhaoyu, Executive Principal, Mr. Wang Shi, Executive Vice Principal, and Mr. Donald Miller, Academic Principal, respectively delivered a welcome speech and proposed many plans for the future development of the school. 

The Human Resources Department announced the official start of the faculty conference and welcomed new joined employees of Kaiwen Academy.

Mrs. Zhou Zhaoyu, the Executive Principal, introduced the basic situation of the school, summed up the work of the past academic year with detailed data, and explained the development plan and work requirements of the new school year.

Executive Vice Principal Wang Shi, Academic Principal Donald Miller and Primary School Director Michael Shimshak respectively delivered a welcome speech.

Scott Reid, the director of the middle school, as a representative of school leader and new employees, was very excited: "I am very happy and proud to join the family of Kaiwen Academy. I hope that everyone will work together to create a wider sky for our students, guide them to the top universities in the world."

As the head of Kaiwen Education Group, Mr. Xu Guangyu, the chairman of the BOD, said: "I am very happy to see so many new forces joining. In the past two years, we have made great progress and we must recognize our own shortcomings. As Principal Zhou said - 'self-improvement through self-denying'. In the new school year, as the number of students doubled, more than 40 outstanding Chinese and foreign teachers joined Kaiwen, 80% of whom hold master's degree or above, including 6 doctors, with an average teaching age of more than 8 years. They bring not only rich knowledge, but also excellent educational and teaching concepts. In the Kaiwen family, they will integrate themselves into Kaiwen to create a quality international education with Kevin characteristics.
