"History lessons in museums" is a regular course of humanity and social science teaching and learning in Beijing Kaiwen Academy (Haidian).

The "A History of the World in 100 Objects" exhibition spans two million years of human history with 100 objects from the collection of the British Museum, featuring major world civilizations. Each set of objects represents an extremely rich historical and cultural background.

After the visit, the students held group discussions in the classroom about the most impressive exhibits.

The exhibits included eight cultural relics of Chinese civilization and contemporary products manufactured in China.

As a bilingual school practicing the holistic education philosophy that highlights art, science, and physical education, Kaiwen always focuses on cultivating students' critical thinking skills and international perspectives. It also sticks to innovation and exploration during the teaching and learning processes, as well as encouraging deep integration of Chinese and Western cultures.
